Reflection:
I think this might arguably be my best peice. I spent a lot of time carving the inside out and making sure it really had that Bart Simpson look. I really like this peice and how it came out, the only thing I would do differently is maybe add some facial expression, but still I really like this peice. I also think that it should qualify for the current artist because Matt Groening is a current artist, and the artist who created all of the Simpson characters, and I really think that bart is a work of art and should be recognized for that!!

Other than the bart simpson, my little chill frog got to be 2nd on my top peices list. I actually saw this peice on tik tok and wanted to recreate it, so I did, and it came out pretty good I think. honestly I don't think I would do anything different, I really like this peice.

​this piece is meant as a gift for my mom, but it didn't come out super good. I'm still happy with it because it still has that cartoonist feel, but it was meant to be bigger and hold like utensils, but its kinda small. I still like it but if I had the chance to remake it I would focus more on the inside and how big I would make it. it needs to fit more things in it to really be useful, but I mean it could qualify for a pencil holder.

​overall I really like this piece. I would have to say that making wall hangings and carvings like this one is one of my favorite things to do in ceramics. I love it because I like to glaze carefully and make it look like a painting. I like this piece a lot, but if I could re do it I would try to make the house pop a little more and look much more 3D because the house looks a little stupid. overall I'm happy with it though.
